You’ll step into a cozy, light-filled art studio in the heart of Brooklyn and immerse yourself in a 3-hour oil painting experience designed for all skill levels.
Guided by a professional artist and educator, you’ll create your own New York City-inspired painting. Choose from a selection of iconic scenes — bridges, parks, skyline views — or bring your own favorite photo to work from. You'll learn the fundamentals of composition and perspective, how to mix colors effectively, explore color relationships, and practice brush and palette knife techniques.

All materials are included, so there’s no need to bring anything but your curiosity and love for creativity. Whether you come solo, with a partner, or as a family, this experience offers a chance to slow down, connect with your inner artist, and leave with a unique handmade souvenir — a piece of NYC that’s truly your own.

What to expect

Join me in my cozy Brooklyn studio for a 3-hour oil painting workshop where you’ll create your own New York City-inspired artwork — no experience needed!

As a professional visual artist and art educator, I’ll guide you step-by-step through the painting process, whether you’re a total beginner or someone looking to deepen your skills. You can choose from a curated selection of NYC scenes — from iconic bridges and vibrant parks to quiet corners of the city — or bring your own favorite photo or memory to paint from.

We’ll cover composition, color harmony, perspective, and contrast, all in a relaxed, supportive setting. You’ll have full access to materials, so there’s no need to bring anything but your curiosity and love for New York.

This experience is designed to be personal and inspiring. You’ll leave with a finished painting and a deeper connection to the city’s creative spirit — plus some new skills to take home with you!
