This experience combines off-road adventure, rural landscapes, and a more authentic look at Puerto Plata. The travelers drive their buggy through dirt roads, natural areas, and sectors of the Dominican countryside, with the possibility of encountering mud and water crossings depending on the day's conditions.
Unlike a short closed-circuit ride, this route allows you to discover less touristy areas, make stops for photos, and enjoy the local environment in an active, dynamic, and memorable experience.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Pickup is available from selected hotels, accommodations, Amber Cove, and Taino Bay in the Puerto Plata area. Please be ready at least 10 minutes before the confirmed pickup time. Your exact meeting point and pickup instructions will be provided before the activity.
What to expect
Afterward, an exciting tour through rural roads, dirt paths, and tropical landscapes of Puerto Plata will begin. Depending on the terrain conditions, the route may include muddy areas, puddles, and small water crossings, making each outing different.
During the journey, travelers will be able to enjoy the landscape of the Dominican countryside, see less touristy areas, and make stops to rest, take photographs, and enjoy the natural surroundings.
At the end of the experience, they will return to the base and subsequently be transferred back to the agreed pickup point.
