With fluttering prayer flags, spinning prayer wheels, and wandering monkeys, it’s a calm yet vibrant spot that blends spirituality, history, and scenery all in one place.
Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most sacred Hindu temples in Nepal, set along the banks of the Bagmati River. It’s a spiritual hub where daily rituals, prayers, and traditional ceremonies take place, offering a deep and authentic glimpse into Nepal’s religious life. The peaceful atmosphere, ancient architecture, and riverfront setting make it a meaningful stop for any visitor.
Boudhanath Stupa is one of the largest and most peaceful Buddhist stupas in the world, known for its towering white dome and watchful Buddha eyes. Today you’ll travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara, either by a scenic 6–7 hour drive through hills and rivers or a quick 25-minute flight. Once you arrive, the city’s calm lakeside atmosphere welcomes you with beautiful Himalayan views. Spend the evening strolling along Phewa Lake or simply relaxing and settling into the peaceful vibe of Pokhara.
This day in Pokhara is filled with beautiful views and relaxed sightseeing. You’ll begin before sunrise with a trip to Sarangkot, where the first light touches the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre peaks—one of the most stunning moments of the entire trip. After breakfast and a short rest, you’ll enjoy a peaceful boating experience on Phewa Lake. The day continues with visits to some of Pokhara’s most popular spots, including the hilltop Bindhyabasini Temple, the powerful Davis Falls, the mysterious Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, and the serene World Peace Pagoda, offering sweeping views of the city and the Himalayas.
Today you’ll travel from Pokhara to Chitwan, a scenic 4–5 hour drive that takes you from the hills into Nepal’s lowland jungle region. After arriving and settling in, you’ll join a relaxed village walk to explore local life up close. In the evening, enjoy an authentic Tharu cultural dance performance, giving you a warm and lively introduction to the traditions of the region.
Your full day in Chitwan is packed with classic jungle adventures. You’ll start with a peaceful canoe ride along the Rapti River, where you can spot crocodiles, birds, and wildlife along the riverbanks. After that, a guided jungle walk takes you deeper into the forest’s natural beauty. You’ll also visit the elephant breeding center to learn more about conservation efforts in the park. Later, a jeep safari inside Chitwan National Park gives you the best chance to see rhinos, deer, wild boars, and many bird species—and if luck is on your side, even a Bengal tiger
Today you’ll make your way back to Kathmandu, either by a scenic drive through hills and rivers or a quick optional flight. It’s a relaxed travel day, giving you time to unwind and reflect on your adventures before reaching the capital.
