Hike to the Tausano ridge

DA outside the old town of San Leo, with the fortress in front of our eyes, we will walk the path on the crest of the rock formations to the small village of Tausano. A walk with panoramic views of the Marecchia valley and the Republic of San Marino, in one of the most important natural sites in the area for its biodiversity and geological history. On the way back we will stop to visit the Franciscan convent of S. Igne of the thirteenth century, a place that exudes peace and balance to climb to Mount San Severino and admire San Leo from above.

    The convent of S. Igne is a place suspended in time surrounded by lush nature and a magnificent landscape on the Marecchia valley DA. We will visit the church and cloister of this 13th century convent, one of the first Franciscan convents outside Umbria.
