Beijing Hutong City Walk, Food Tour & Traditional Performance
Explore old Beijing through a guided hutong city walk combined with local food tastings and a traditional Chinese performance. This experience offers insight into Beijing’s daily life, cuisine, and performing arts.
The tour lasts approximately 4 hours, including a 2–3 hour city walk and a 1–2 hour live performance, depending on the show. Walking distance is around 3–4 kilometers, so comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended.
The performance may include Peking Opera, crosstalk (Xiangsheng), or other traditional theater, depending on the theater’s schedule. Guests with specific performance preferences or seating upgrade requests should contact the guide in advance. Please inform the guide ahead of time of any food allergies or dietary requirements.
We will meet at Exit C of Hepingmen Station. Private pick-up and drop-off can be arranged upon request, with transportation costs (such as taxi or DiDi) paid directly by the guest. The estimated cost will be shared in advance so guests can decide whether they would like to use this service.

Qianmen Area Qianmen is a historic district located just south of Tian’anmen Square. It blends restored traditional architecture with long-established local brands and street food. Walking through this area provides insight into Beijing’s commercial history and everyday city life.
Lao She Teahouse Lao She Teahouse is a well-known cultural venue named after the famous Chinese writer Lao She. It offers traditional tea, snacks, and live performances such as Peking Opera, crosstalk, and folk music, making it a popular place to experience classic Chinese performing arts in one setting.
