For airport pickup, your guide will wait for you at the arrival hall of Lhasa Gongga Airport, holding a sign that reads 'Xinghe Travel'. For daily departures, hotel pickup is available from your Lhasa city hotel lobby. Please be ready at least 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Your guide will contact you in advance to confirm the exact time and location

    Journey to Mount Everest Base Camp

    1. Accommodation is at the Everest Base Camp B&B (public toilet, limited conditions): generally clean and tidy, quite different from the city hotels, please understand 2. The food and accommodation on that day are poor, the altitude is high, and the temperature is low, please pay attention to cold protection. Pay attention to safety and prevent altitude sickness. In summer, the temperature is around 0-8 degrees at night. Please bring warm clothes. You can also rent down jackets at the base camp to keep warm.

It is listed as one of the six major temples of the Gelug Sect along with Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery and Ganden Monastery in Lhasa, Ta'er Monastery in Qinghai and Labrang Monastery in Gansu. It was initiated by the first Dalai Lama Gendun Zhuba, a disciple of Tsongkhapa, in 1447. Highlights of the tour:
