Nudokubi-Abu is a cave that is not widely known among tourists. Since ancient times, it has been regarded as a sacred place where gods reside, making it a spiritual power spot. It is also a historical site that was used by the Japanese military during World War II.
Toguchi no Hama is a beach loved by local residents. It is relatively uncrowded with tourists, allowing visitors to spend a relaxing time here.
Shinbizi is located beneath dramatic sea cliffs, with stairs that lead directly down to the ocean. Although it is not widely known among tourists, it is a fantastic spot for photography.
Iguana Rock is a hidden spot that does not appear on Google Maps. From the top of the cliff, you can look down over the ocean and enjoy a breathtaking view. It is also an excellent location for drone photography.
17 End is the beach with the highest water clarity in Miyakojima. It is located next to Shimojishima Airport, and if you visit during low tide, you can take truly stunning photos.
This is another secluded beach that does not appear on Google Maps. On a clear day, you can enjoy the stunning “Miyako Blue” waters at their most vibrant.
Pigyas is a blue hole that is hardly known to tourists. When you look down from above, you can enjoy a truly stunning and beautiful view.
Sankakuten is also a hidden spot that does not appear on Google Maps. From the top of the cliff, you can look down over the ocean and enjoy a breathtaking view. It is also an excellent location for drone photography.
Utopia Farm Miyakojima is a popular sightseeing spot where you can learn about the fruits, flowers, and tropical plants grown in Miyakojima. It is one of the island’s classic must-visit attractions. The entrance fee is 500 yen for adults and 250 yen for children. If you visit this place, you will need to pay the admission fee yourself.
It is the easternmost cape of Miyakojima. On a clear day, you can enjoy the beautiful “Miyako Blue” ocean stretching out before you.
Imgya Marine Garden offers a breathtaking ocean view from its observatory. Thanks to Instagram, it has become a very popular spot among young visitors.
