What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Along SH46 look for a brown sign with white wording that reads: "Tongariro Shuttle Car Park". This is our entrance way. The gravel road swings left and you drive approx 200m to the carpark.
We drop you off at the start of the hike. When you hike the Tongariro Alpine Crossing and reach the end of the trail at ketetahi, walk another 10-minutes down the gravel road until your reach the tee-junction with SH46. Walk across the road to our carpark and your parked vehicle.
What to expect
Book and pay online. Full instructions will be emailed with your booking order and 3 reminder emails will be sent 7 days, 3 days and 12 hrs in advance of your booked date.
Arrive at the carpark at least 15mins before your shuttle departure time. You will be greeted by the staff. They will show you where to park and they will point out where the shuttles pick you up.
Upon parking and collecting your gear, make your way to the shuttle pick-up point.
Your transport vehicles "load and go" as soon as they are full. Your drivers will greet you at the loading bay and provide a safety briefing before you depart.
Be prepared to complete a client register form on the shuttle vehicle, you will need to know your vehicle registration plate number and provide the cellphone number you are carrying on the hike for this register.
