We meet to start our tour at the corner of Broad Street and Church Street, at the site of the Shepheards Tavern marker.
We will end near the Old Exchange Building on East Bay Street.
Here we will learn about George Washington's impact on Charleston; a marker for the unknown grave of the mother of a future US President, who died nursing Colonial prisoners, and more.
Charleston's oldest church, played a critical role in the British bombardment in 1780, you will leave this spot in awe of how a 260+ year old church that witnessed and hosted much of the US Revolution. With a graveyard that holds the graves of signers of the US Constitution.
Stroll down South of Broad, on beautiful Meeting Street that hosts the homes of several Revolutionary leaders, both future-American, and British. Among other homes, the house that served at the HQ of the British after its capture.
