Carara National Park is located on the South Coast Highway (Route 34). Once you arrive, you must enter the main entrance and go directly to the ticket office.

Itinerary

    Our naturalist guide will meet travelers at the ticket office of Carara National Park, where the tour will begin. From there, you will accompany them on a 2- to 3-hour hike along the forest trails, providing a close and personalized experience. During the tour, they will observe birds such as red macaws, monkeys and other species in their natural habitat. The guide will help identify the fauna and explain the ecosystem, while using the telescope for more detailed observations. It will be a dynamic, educational and authentic experience in direct contact with the biodiversity of Costa Rica.
