Discover Wuyuan Huangling: A Living Masterpiece of Rural China
Step into a painting at Huangling, where 500-year-old "hanging villages" cling to emerald mountains like cascading fans. Stroll "Sky Street" lined with Ming-era shops, where artisans craft inkstones under tiled eaves. Witness "God’s Palette"—terraced fields that blaze gold in spring (March-April) or flame red in autumn (November). Pro tip: Sizzle your taste buds with "Hu Bu Ji" street’s crispy ta guo (savory pancakes) post-tour. A UNESCO-listed heritage vibe, just 1.5hrs from Huangshan. Nature + culture = Unforgettable China!
We chose "Other" as our pick-up location. We offer two options: one for all hotels in Tunxi District and one for Huangshan North High-Speed Railway Station. We're not restricted to any hotel in Tunxi District; any hotel in the area is welcome. We'll contact you one day before your trip to provide the exact pick-up details, including the pick-up person, contact information, and meeting location.
07:00-07:30 Pick up from hotels in Tunxi City and travel to Huangling, an outstanding representative of Wuyuan scenic spots (about 1 hour and 20 minutes by car)
09:30-14:00 [Wuyuan Huangling] (approximately 3-4 hours). Huangling is a typical mountain village, with houses arranged in a fan-shaped terraced pattern around a water source. Surrounded by thousands of ancient trees and tens of thousands of acres of terraced fields, the village's "Nine Alleys of Heavenly Street" connects classic ancient buildings like a jade belt. Hui-style shops are lined with shops in front and back, creating a moving, abbreviated version of "Along the River During the Qingming Festival." Lunch is at your own expense.
At the end of the tour, you'll be transferred back to your hotel, high-speed rail station, or you can visit the [Hu Buqi Snack Street] - [Hui Cuisine Museum] at your own leisure to enjoy Huizhou snacks (baofu dumplings, jiaotou noodles, tart cakes, etc.) at your own expense. *The above itinerary is subject to change due to weather, road conditions, and other factors.
