Bologna : tortellino experience with craft lab or cooking class

2 hours 30 minutes (approximately)
Offered in: English and 1 more

You can not say that you have really been to Bologna without having tasted the tortellino, symbol of the city and the Emilian tradition. This small chest of egg pasta filled with meat, according to legend inspired by the navel of Venus, is still prepared according to recipes handed down over time.

With the Tortellino Experience you will live a unique tour between culture and taste. The experience begins with a guided walk in the historic center through arcades, squares and shops, discovering the origins of tortellino, the legends and rituals of handmade pasta.

This will be followed by a tasting of traditional tortellini, served in broth or with Parmigiano Reggiano cream, depending on the season.

You can then choose between a creative leather workshop, making a tortellino key ring, or a cooking class to learn how to make fresh pasta by hand.

The experience ends with a themed gadget : an authentic memory of Bologna.
