We pick up all travelers from the specified meeting point probably the specified hotel area or the Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport, as you land at the Airport head direct to the arrival hall, our driver will be waiting for you with a sign of your names on hand.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your guide will meet and transfer you to your lodge in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a relaxing bird walk in the lodge’s lush gardens. Species often spotted here include sunbirds, hornbills, hoopoes, and turacos. Your guide will provide a short briefing about the safari.
After an early breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, home to over 500 bird species, including yellow-collared lovebirds, ashy starlings, and various eagles and vultures. The Tarangire River attracts both birds and large herds of elephants. Enjoy a full-day game and birding drive with a picnic lunch in the park. Late afternoon check-in at your lodge overlooking the savannah.
Begin the day with early morning birding around the lodge, then drive toward the Ngorongoro Highlands, passing rural villages and scenic landscapes. Stop en route at Gibbs Farm or along the escarpment for possible sightings of silvery-cheeked hornbills, Schawlow's turaco, and African paradise flycatchers. Arrive at your lodge in the misty highlands by late afternoon.
Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s top wildlife destinations and an excellent spot for wetland and grassland birds. Watch for Kori bustards, grey crowned cranes, African spoonbills, and flamingos around Lake Magadi, alongside rhinos, lions, and elephants. Enjoy a picnic lunch and ascend by mid-afternoon. After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its groundwater forest and alkaline lake. Explore habitats rich with pelicans, herons, kingfishers, bee-eaters, and pink flamingos. Meru as a backdrop, enjoy a picnic lunch and game viewing before heading back to Arusha for your final evening.
Depending on your flight time, enjoy a relaxing breakfast and possibly some last-minute birding around the lodge gardens. Later, your guide will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure, filled with rich memories and a full birding checklist.
