If you're looking for a once-in-a-lifetime safari experience that blends thrilling wildlife encounters with comfort and efficiency, this is the journey you’ve been waiting for. It is ideal for solo travelers, families or couples who wishes to travel stress-free from road congestions as it includes direct flights to Serengeti.
We up all travelers, so once you arrive at the airport or designated meeting point, please proceed to the arrival hall and wait there. Our driver will be waiting for you with a sign displaying your name(s) for easy identification. After a warm welcome, you'll be transferred to the next point of your safari.
Your adventure begins early with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. You will drive to Arusha Airport for your scheduled domestic flight to the Serengeti. The flight itself is a spectacular introduction, offering aerial views of the vast plains and scattered acacia trees. You will land at the Kogatende Airstrip, the gateway to the Mara River region in the Northern Serengeti. Upon landing, you will be met by your private guide and vehicle. After a brief introduction, you embark on your first game drive en route to your camp. You'll immediately be in the heart of wildebeest territory. The landscape is characterized by rolling hills and the iconic Mara River. You might see massive herds of wildebeest and zebra gathering on the banks, a sure sign that a crossing could be imminent. You arrive at Enkutoto Luxury Tented Camp in time for a welcome lunch.
This is the day dedicated entirely to the Mara River crossings. You will depart after an early breakfast with a packed lunch, allowing you to spend the entire day at the riverbanks. Patience is key. You will position yourself at a strategic vantage point and wait for the action to unfold. The tension builds as thousands of wildebeest and zebra gather, hesitant to cross. When the first animal takes the plunge, it triggers a chaotic, breathtaking spectacle. You'll witness crocodile attacks, desperate scrambles up steep banks, and the sheer power of the herd. Your guide will use their expertise and radio contact with other drivers to find the best locations. After an exhilarating day, you return to Enkutoto Luxury Tented Camp to relax, share stories, and enjoy a well-deserved dinner, with the sounds of the wilderness as your soundtrack.
After breakfast, you enjoy a final game drive as you depart the Northern Serengeti. This is a chance to see any wildlife you may have missed and to bid farewell to the migration herds. The journey south towards the Central Serengeti (Seronera Valley) is a game drive in itself. You will stop for a picnic lunch at a scenic spot along the way. As you enter the Central Serengeti, the landscape changes to open grasslands dotted with rocky outcrops known as kopjes. This area is famous for its high density of resident wildlife year-round. You are likely to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, and elephants. You arrive at Oikarien Eco Safari Camp in the late afternoon. This camp offers a different, more intimate atmosphere. You can unwind and experience the serene beauty of the central plains before dinner.
Today is dedicated to exploring the world-renowned Seronera Valley. The Central Serengeti is the park's hub of biodiversity. Your game drive will focus on searching for the "Big Cats." Leopards are often spotted resting in the sausage trees along the Seronera River, cheetahs use the open plains for hunting, and lion prides are frequently seen on the kopjes. You'll also encounter vast herds of buffalo, giraffe, antelope, and hippo pools. In the evening you return to Oikarien Eco Safari Camp for your final night in the wilderness. This is a perfect time to reflect on the incredible contrasts between the drama of the north and the classic beauty of the central region.
Enjoy one last African sunrise with a final, short game drive as you transfer to the Seronera Airstrip. This is your last opportunity to spot any animals you haven't seen yet. In the mid morning, you board your domestic flight from Seronera back to Arusha Airport. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred either to Arusha town for a day room (if you have an evening international flight) or directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure, marking the end of your unforgettable safari.
