Today is a highlight of the safari. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive within this UNESCO World Heritage Site, often referred to as Africa’s “Garden of Eden.” With a dense concentration of wildlife, including all of the Big Five—lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and buffalo—you’ll enjoy a rich and rewarding safari experience. Stop for a picnic lunch beside the Hippo Pool before ascending the crater and driving back to Arusha for your final night.
