Upon arrival at the Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by one of our professional guides, dressed in full company uniform, holding a sign with your name(s) on it, for easy identification. Your safari adventure begins as you land in Tanzanian Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). You'll be greeted by a representative from our safari company who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel in Arusha. You will be hosted at Kibo Palace Hotel, a very comfortable and well-regarded mid-range hotel in Arusha. It offers a swimming pool, spacious rooms, and excellent service—a perfect place to relax after your journey. Your guide will meet you for a pre-safari briefing to discuss the itinerary in detail.

2Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you'll drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This compact park is known for its stunning variety of ecosystems squeezed between the Great Rift Valley escarpment and the alkaline lake. Enjoy a game drive where you might see tree-climbing lions (a unique behavior), large troops of baboons, elephants and if you're lucky, the flamingos that flock to the lake shores in the thousands. The lush groundwater forest is a beautiful contrast to the savannahs you'll visit later. After the park exploration, you'll drive up into the Karatu highlands and check in to the Karatu Tloma Lodge a charming, rustic-chic lodge set on a working coffee farm. It offers beautiful gardens, stunning views, and a peaceful atmosphere.

3Ngorongoro Crater
An early start takes you to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You'll descend the steep crater wall into the Ngorongoro Crater, a world-renowned UNESCO site. This natural amphitheater is often called the "Eighth Wonder of the World" due to its incredible concentration of wildlife. It's one of the best places on Earth to see the Big Five, including the endangered black rhinoceros. Enjoy a full morning of game viewing followed by a picnic lunch next to a hippo pool. Later on ascend from the crater and return to your familiar Tloma Lodge Karatu a comfort lodge offering seamless relaxation after an exhilarating day.

4Seronera
Today, you journey to the legendary Serengeti. The drive takes you through the Ngorongoro highlands and into the Serengeti ecosystem. You'll notice the landscape gradually change to the vast, golden savannah the park is famous for. You'll enter the park and begin game driving towards the Central Serengeti (Seronera Valley), an area rich with wildlife year-round due to its reliable water sources. This area is famous for its big cat populations—lions, leopards (often seen resting in acacia trees), and cheetahs. You will check in to Into Wild Africa Tented Camp a classic, comfortable tented camp that offers an authentic safari experience. You'll sleep in spacious, en-suite tents, hearing the sounds of the bush at night while enjoying essential comforts.

5Seronera
A full day to explore the diverse habitats of the Central Serengeti. Your guide will take you to valleys and kopjes (rocky outcrops) that are prime locations for predators. The Seronera River Valley is a wildlife magnet. You'll have the flexibility to follow animal sightings and spend time observing the intricate behaviors of the Serengeti's inhabitants. Lately return to your camp, another night in the wild, sharing stories of the day's adventures under a star-filled sky.

6Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you embark on a scenic game drive towards the Western Serengeti (Western Corridor). This region is critically important from approximately May to July, when the massive herds of the Great Migration gather to cross the perilous Grumeti River. This river crossing is a dramatic and brutal spectacle of nature, with crocodiles lying in wait. Even outside the peak season, the Western Serengeti has resident wildlife and beautiful, remote landscapes. Under this particular area you have a potentiality to witness the dramatic river crossings of the Great Migration (highly season-dependent). In the evening you will check in to Lahia Tented Lodge, a well-appointed tented lodge in the Western Corridor, designed to offer comfort and a great sense of place in this remote wilderness.

7Serengeti National Park
This entire day is dedicated to the Western Serengeti. You will focus on the areas around the Grumeti River, scanning the plains for the massive migration herds and the predators that follow them. Your guide will be in contact with other drivers to locate the action. The anticipation and drama of a potential crossing make for an unforgettable day. You will return to Lahia Tented Lodge for your final night in the deep bush.

8Serengeti National Park
Enjoy one last morning game drive in the Western Serengeti, soaking in the final views of the plains. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the Seronera Airstrip for your scheduled domestic flight back to Arusha Airport (ARK). Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be assisted with a day room if needed or transferred directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your international departure.
