We begin with an Old Town Exploration of Shinmachi Street and a tranquil 30-minute cruise on the Hachiman-bori Canal (featured in many Japanese dramas). We also pause at Hachimanjingu Shrine.

Indulge in Culinary Excellence with a luxurious Ōmi Beef lunch. The afternoon is dedicated to a Local Arts & Crafts Deep Dive, exploring enduring merchant crafts: sampling Dechi Yokan, viewing Wooden Beads and Paper Washi Boxes, and visiting the famous Nishikawa Futon store.

Finally, we take the Hachimanyama Ropeway for a Scenic Mountain View over Lake Biwa, visiting the peaceful Murakumo Zuiryu Temple at the summit.
