This horseback riding experience combines two of Costa Rica’s most beautiful landscapes in one tour — jungle trails and the Pacific coastline of Playa Panamá. Instead of riding only through the forest or only along the beach, this tour offers the opportunity to experience both environments during a single 2-hour adventure.
Guests ride through peaceful countryside, tropical forest paths, and open pastures, where it’s common to see wildlife such as toucans, parrots, iguanas, and other native species. The tour then continues to the scenic beaches of the Papagayo region, where riders can enjoy the ocean breeze and stunning views of the Pacific Ocean while riding along the shoreline.
With small groups, friendly well-trained horses, and breathtaking scenery, this tour offers an authentic way to experience the natural beauty of Playa Panamá and Guanacaste — creating unforgettable memories for riders of all experience levels.

What to expect
Begin with a brief introduction to your horse and riding instructions from your guide, then ride through lush jungle trails, open pastures, and tropical farmland while spotting wildlife such as monkeys, toucans, parrots, and iguanas.
The trail then leads to the beautiful Papagayo coastline, where you’ll ride along the golden sands of Playa Panamá. Feel the ocean breeze and enjoy incredible views of the Pacific Ocean as your horse walks along the shoreline. This part of the tour offers fantastic opportunities for photos of the beach, jungle landscapes, and ocean scenery.
Throughout the experience, there are opportunities to pause for photos, ask questions, and learn about the local ecosystems and coastal environment.
