Experience an archaeological and cultural adventure in northwest Chihuahua with this tour that will transport you to the origins of civilization in the desert. We travel to Paquimé, one of the most important archaeological sites in northern Mexico, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We begin with a visit to the Museum of Northern Cultures, home to more than 2,000 pieces chronicling the history of this impressive culture. Then, we walk among the remains of the pre-Hispanic city of Paquimé, famous for its earth architecture, hydraulic works, heated housing and even macaw breeding grounds.
