After arriving in Merzouga, you’ll leave your main luggage at a local hotel before setting off on a traditional camel caravan ride across the dunes of Erg Chebbi. As the sun sets over the desert, enjoy breathtaking views and peaceful moments in one of the most spectacular landscapes in Morocco.

    Then continue your journey toward Boumalne Dades via one of the most scenic routes in southern Morocco. The drive takes you through changing landscapes, from the cinematic surroundings of Ouarzazate and the arid desert plateaus to the lush palm valleys of Skoura and the famous Valley of Roses. As you approach the Dades Valley, the road becomes increasingly dramatic, winding along the edge of steep gorges and offering breathtaking viewpoints over red rock formations, kasbahs, and small Berber villages perched on hillsides. It’s a memorable drive with plenty of photo stops along the way before arriving in Boumalne Dades for your overnight stay.

    From Boumalne Dades, continue your journey toward the spectacular Todra Gorge. The drive takes you through the heart of the Dades Valley, passing traditional Berber villages, palm groves, and striking desert mountain scenery. Along the way, you’ll enjoy scenic viewpoints over the rugged Atlas landscapes before reaching Tinghir, where the road follows a lush oasis framed by dramatic cliffs.     Once you arrive in Merzouga, you will be asked to leave your unnecessary luggage at the hotel so you can continue light and comfortable into the desert. From there, you’ll head out to the magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes on a traditional camel caravan ride, crossing the golden sands of the Sahara as the sun begins to set over the dunes. overnight in the bivouac in the heart of Merzouga Sahara, with Berber music while dining, around the fire, and an unforgettable night under a clear desert sky full of stars.
