The historic center of Mazatlan hides a constellation of artistic spaces where creativity takes multiple forms. This experience leads us through selected galleries, each offering a window into the visions of local artists. From bold contemporary pieces to works steeped in tradition, you’ll see how color, texture and shape dialogue with the region’s culture and history.

In the tour, we will talk about the aesthetic language and thematic concerns of each artist: what they choose to represent and why. Sometimes, the creators themselves join the conversation, sharing their processes and inspirations. The journey between galleries becomes part of the art itself, framed by colonial streets, sunlight and the sounds of the center.

We will meet at the (i) guesthouse, on the west side of the cathedral. There will be an information sign on the facade. Here you can get additional information about tourist and cultural activities in Mazatlan. We also have a cafeteria and toilets.

    The Angela Peralta Theatre gallery maintains a transient exhibition of art produced in the city or by artists from the region. The sites to visit during this tour depend on which galleries have material to highlight.
