    The Pinacoteca Ambrosiana is named after the patron saint of Milan, St. Ambrose of Milan. In the early 17th century, Cardinal Federico Borromeo donated his private collection of art masterpieces to the Ambrosian Library. Here, you can see unique paintings by Caravaggio and Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli and Titian, as well as Napoleon’s gloves and a lock of hair from the legendary Lucrezia Borgia. You will also discover what the Codex of Leonardo da Vinci is.
