In addition to the state apartments, the palace also offers more intimate rooms: the king’s bedroom and the monarch’s study.
Of course, we will not miss the famous Hall of Mirrors. The antique mirrors from the Saint-Gobain Manufacture, the colorful marble on the walls, the chandeliers and candelabras, and the fantastic view of the park’s central perspective—just for the Hall of Mirrors alone, it’s worth traveling to Versailles!
Visitors will witness an amazing blend of artistic perfection, technological progress from the time of Louis XIV, and luxury rich with historical symbolism, which to this day retains its irresistible charm.
In Versailles itself, our visit will begin with a tour of the palace complex. You will see all the state rooms of the palace, which have preserved their décor since the 17th century. It was here in the evenings that the famous “apartments” were held, attracting crowds of courtiers who tried to outshine each other with their outfits and refined manners. It was also here that kings received foreign monarchs and ambassadors. The Halls of Hercules, Mars, Apollo, and Mercury continue to impress visitors with their luxurious interiors, draperies, and paintings.
