You’ll also have the chance to ascend to the observation deck at Piazzale Michelangelo and see the entire city laid out before you.
For those who wish, the journey can be enriched with excursions to Pompeii and Naples, the Vatican and Pisa, the Pope’s summer residence, and the picturesque Lake Nemi. Our representative will be waiting for arrivals at Terminal 1 near the information desk opposite the arrival exit. For arrivals at Terminal 3, the meeting point is near column 3 at the MEETING POINT. Guests will be welcomed holding a sign with “Europe Voyage.” If, for any reason, you are delayed leaving the area or unable to arrive, you must urgently inform us about the delay by calling our hotline or the group escort whose number is provided in the tour program. • Guests with group transfers arriving on night and early flights between 00:00 and 05:30 will meet the assistant at 06:00. Providing group transfers upon arrival involves grouping tourists arriving at different times and on different flights.
Arrival in Rome. At the airport, you will meet a company representative holding a Europe Voyage sign. Transfer to the hotel. *An optional excursion is offered: “The Strawberry Town of Nemi – Lake Nemi – Castel Gandolfo.” Duration: 3–4 hours. During the excursion, we will visit the town of Castel Gandolfo, which is home to the Pope’s summer residence. Next, we will take a stroll through the cozy town where the kingdom of Alba Longa once stood, the birthplace of Roman land. The route continues along winding roads with views of the sacred groves of Alba Longa and the mirrored surface of the lake, known as the “Mirror of Diana.” In Nemi itself, you will have the chance to taste homemade wine and various local seasonings. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.
A guided walking tour of Rome. During the sightseeing walking tour, you will see: Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Piazza Venezia, the Colosseum, and the Roman Forums. Free time. An optional excursion is offered to the Capitoline Hill – the origins of Roman history. We invite you to ascend the Capitoline Hill – the Capitoline is one of the seven hills where Ancient Rome was founded. Although the Capitoline is smaller than the other six hills of Rome, it can truly be called the heart of the Eternal City. Belvedere – The Belvedere Courtyard is part of the architectural complex of the Vatican Palaces, which is considered one of the most famous and significant landmarks of the Renaissance era. The name “Belvedere” translates to “beautiful view.” Such structures were built on hills to admire the breathtaking surrounding landscapes. This was the very purpose of the Belvedere. Free time. An optional full-day excursion to Naples and Pompeii is offered. The magnificent city of Pompeii will leave you with unforgettable impressions and transport you to the era of Ancient Rome. You will discover the rich antiquity and remarkable architectural creations of the Pompeians, which were prominent in the first centuries BC. Naples is the birthplace of the original Margherita pizza, traditionally baked in wood-fired ovens. Naples is a paradise for food lovers, where you can also enjoy the freshest seafood, followed by the opportunity to take beautiful photographs against the backdrop of Mount Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples. Return to Rome. Overnight at the hotel in Rome.
Rome–Pisa Breakfast at the hotel. An optional visit to the Vatican City is organized, including a guided tour of St. Peter’s Basilica with a licensed guide. Transfer to the Tuscany region. If desired, an optional excursion is organized to the historic city of Pisa. We will see Pisa’s iconic landmark—the Leaning Tower—which evokes an awe-inspiring sense of wonder, surprise, and curiosity in millions of travelers from all over the world. You will also visit the ancient Square of Miracles, the Baptistery, the Cathedral, the Camposanto cemetery, and a traditional souvenir market. You will hear the city’s major legends and feel the mysterious medieval spirit of the city!
Montecatini Terme (Siena and San Gimignano) Free time in Montecatini Terme, or, if you wish, an optional excursion to the cities of Siena and San Gimignano—both beautiful towns with centuries-old histories. Many consider Siena to be the most enchanting place in Tuscany: it was the first city in Italy to create a pedestrian area. The city’s historic center, built on the three Terzi hills, is best explored on foot—around every corner, a pleasant surprise awaits you. San Gimignano is a UNESCO-protected city, renowned as a gem of Tuscan architecture. On the way from Siena to San Gimignano, a visit to a Tuscan farm is offered, with the opportunity to taste and buy typical regional products and enjoy lunch. San Gimignano is situated on a hill, overlooking the Elsa river valley. Of the 72 towers built in the 11th–13th centuries—which once symbolized the power and wealth of the local noble families. Return to the hotel in the vicinity of Montecatini Terme.
Florence is one of the largest and most beautiful cities in Italy, the birthplace of the Renaissance. Famous figures such as Leonardo da Vinci, Dante, Michelangelo, and many others lived and created here. A guided walking tour of Florence’s historic center with a Russian-speaking guide: Piazza della Signoria and Palazzo Vecchio, Cathedral Square, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Piazza Santa Croce, Piazza della Repubblica, and the Dante Quarter. An optional excursion to the Uffizi Gallery is offered. Free time. A visit to the Piazzale Michelangelo observation deck, one of Florence’s most iconic attractions. From here, you will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the historic center of Florence, with its magnificent domes and palaces, a view of the famous Old Bridge and the Arno River. Here, you will see the whole city at a glance Transfer to the Veneto region.
Transfer to Venice—one of the most beautiful cities in the world. You will enjoy a guided city tour. You will see St. Mark’s Square, St. Mark’s Basilica, and the Campanile—the tallest building in Venice. And of course, don’t forget about the gondolas, the exotic mode of transportation in Venice; taking a ride will immerse you in the distant past of the Venetian Republic. Optional excursions are available to St. Mark’s Basilica and San Lazzaro Island. Venice is the perfect place for mysterious ghost stories and local legends, so for those who enjoy such tales, an optional tour—Legends and Myths of Venice—is offered. On this tour, you can walk through the quiet alleys away from the main routes and discover the secrets and legends of Venice. Transfer to Rome, either by bus or train. Overnight at the hotel.
