Led by a licensed local guide and history teacher, the experience begins at Klis Fortress, a powerful stronghold above Split with panoramic views over the coast, islands and mountains. Guests will explore its gates, walls and viewpoints while learning about medieval rulers, soldiers, sieges and the fortress’s role in controlling the route between the coast and the hinterland.
The tour then continues to Trogir, one of the most charming historic towns on the Adriatic. Guests will walk through narrow stone streets, medieval squares, noble palaces and the waterfront while discovering the town’s rich history and architecture.

Guests will explore Klis Fortress, one of the most impressive historic strongholds in Dalmatia. Located on a dramatic mountain pass above Split and Solin, the fortress offers spectacular views of the Adriatic coast, nearby islands and the surrounding mountains. The guide will explain why Klis was such an important strategic point for centuries, controlling the route between the coast and the Dalmatian hinterland. During the visit, guests will walk through the fortress gates, walls, courtyards and viewpoints while learning about medieval rulers, local noble families, soldiers, sieges and the long struggle for control of this key defensive position. This stop combines military history, local stories, impressive architecture and some of the best panoramic views near Split. Guests will also have time to enjoy the scenery, take photos and understand why Klis became one of the most recognizable historic viewpoints above Split.

2Trogir
Guests will explore the historic town of Trogir, one of the most beautiful medieval towns on the Adriatic coast. Built on a small island, Trogir is known for its narrow stone streets, elegant squares, noble palaces, churches and waterfront atmosphere. The guided walk begins near the North Gate and continues toward the main square, where guests will see the Cathedral of Saint Lawrence and the famous Radovan Portal from the outside, together with the town loggia, clock tower and surrounding historic buildings. The guide will explain Trogir’s development through antiquity and the Middle Ages, as well as its importance as a centre of trade, art and architecture. The tour continues through quiet old streets toward the waterfront promenade and the area around Kamerlengo Fortress. This stop offers a relaxed but rich introduction to Trogir’s history, architecture and local character.
