Discover Florence on a day trip from Bologna by First-Class high-speed train. Upon arrival, meet your guide in front of the Misericordia Museum and step straight inside the majestic Duomo of Santa Maria del Fiore: thanks to exclusive access via a dedicated side entrance for your group, you'll bypass the long lines entirely. A certified guide will lead you on a 30-minute tour through the secrets of the Cathedral and Brunelleschi’s Dome, after which you can stay inside to continue exploring at your own pace. Following some free time for lunch or shopping, you’ll join an evocative afternoon group walking tour. 1Duomo - Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore
The city’s most iconic landmark. The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, with its extraordinary dome designed by Brunelleschi, is an absolute masterpiece of human ingenuity. The polychrome marble façade and the interior frescoes depicting the Last Judgement are truly breathtaking. A unique experience to discover the history and spirituality that breathe life into the heart of Florence.

2Piazza della Repubblica
The first stop on the guided group tour is this splendid, monumental square with its elegant 19th-century style, famous for its historic literary cafés and the distinctive vintage carousel that graces its centre.

3Fontana del Porcellino
Your guide will take you to the Loggia del Mercato Nuovo. Originally an ancient centre for the trade in silks and precious goods, the Loggia is home to the famous Porcellino fountain: a must-see spot where you can stroke the shiny snout of the bronze boar and toss in a coin to wish for good luck.

4Ponte Vecchio
The guide will then take you to see the undisputed symbol of Florence: the Ponte Vecchio, one of the most photographed spots in the world. Having survived wars and floods, it is famous for its goldsmith’s workshops, which still retain their old-world artisanal charm to this day. As you stroll along the bridge, you can enjoy an enchanting view of the Arno and the city skyline, whilst soaking up an atmosphere that seems frozen in time.

5Piazzale Degli Uffizi
Among the stops on the tour, the Uffizi is an absolute must-see. It is one of the world’s most famous museums, renowned for its unrivalled collection of Renaissance masterpieces, housed within the imposing Vasari-designed structure that links the Palazzo Vecchio to the River Arno, creating a breathtaking corridor of art that is a sight to behold even from the outside. 6Piazza della Signoria
The political and artistic heart of Florence, Piazza della Signoria is a veritable open-air museum. Here stand the majestic Palazzo Vecchio and the Loggia dei Lanzi, which houses sculptural masterpieces such as Cellini's Perseus and Giambologna's Rape of the Sabine Women. Every stone tells the story of Medici power and the great artistic revolutions that marked the Renaissance.

7Duomo - Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore
The walking tour will end right in front of the majestic Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, where you’ll say goodbye to your guide and the group. From here, you’ll have time to take one last photo or buy a souvenir before making your own way to the station to catch the high-speed train and return to Bologna in complete comfort.

- In the late afternoon, an Italo train from Florence Santa Maria Novella station will take you back to Bologna Central Station.
