The Vadio project, located in the Bairrada region, was founded in two thousand and five by Luís Patrão with the mission of restoring the authenticity and aging potential of the region. Guided by a philosophy of minimal intervention, the boutique winery focuses on traditional grape varieties like Baga and Bical, which beautifully express the local limestone soils through sustainable viticulture practices. Our Exclusive Vadio Tour offers a complete immersion into this philosophy. You will begin with a guided walk through the old vineyards in Poutena to understand the unique terroir and organic farming methods. This is followed by a private visit to the artisanal cellar, where the classic vinification and oak aging processes are revealed. The experience concludes with a premium tasting of four signature wines, including the Vadio White, Red, and their iconic Sparkling wine, paired perfectly with local delicacies. It is an intimate journey into the classic elegance of Bairrada.
