Usually, I offer this tour in Gion, but if you prefer, we can change the location to Arashiyama Bamboo Forest or Fushimi Inari. You will receive 30 carefully edited photos delivered to you quickly via Google Drive within two days. Whether you choose to wear a kimono or your own clothes, I’ll help you feel relaxed and confident throughout the shoot.

We start our journey at Yasaka Shrine, a beautiful and famous Shinto shrine located in the lively heart of Gion. Known for its bright red torii gate and rows of glowing lanterns, this shrine creates a magical and traditional atmosphere perfect for photos. The shrine’s main hall and smaller wooden buildings show classic Japanese architecture, offering various backgrounds to suit your style. Here, you can capture the calm and spiritual side of Kyoto, framed by the vibrant colors of the shrine and the peaceful gardens surrounding it. Whether it’s morning light or evening glow, Yasaka Shrine’s unique charm will help make your photos stand out. Next, we stroll through quaint, narrow streets lined with traditional wooden houses and small shops to reach Hōkan-ji Temple, widely known as Yasaka Pagoda. This five-story pagoda is one of Kyoto’s most recognizable landmarks and offers a stunning backdrop that beautifully reflects old Japan. The pagoda towers over the surrounding neighborhood, and its red and brown colors contrast beautifully with the natural surroundings. This spot is especially popular for photos because the view combines architecture, history, and everyday Kyoto life. Our last stop is the famous Kiyomizu-dera Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site that offers breathtaking views and photo opportunities. The temple’s large wooden stage, supported by hundreds of wooden pillars, overlooks the city and lush forests. Depending on the season, you’ll see colorful cherry blossoms in spring or brilliant red and orange leaves in autumn, creating a stunning natural frame for your photos.
