Travel along the lake’s edge before reaching a trailhead on the mountain. From here, take a short and easy 10-minute hike to the Mount Gamti Balcony, a breathtaking viewpoint that offers panoramic views of Lake Bovilla’s turquoise waters, dramatic cliffs, and lush landscapes. You’ll have about an hour to enjoy the view, take photos, breathe in the fresh mountain air, or relax with a coffee surrounded by nature.

2Kruja Castle
Next, we head to the historic town of Krujë, the former capital of Albania and a symbol of national pride. Stroll through the charming Old Bazaar, where traditional artisan crafts and souvenirs line cobbled streets, and ascend to the iconic Krujë Castle. Inside the fortress, visit the Skanderbeg Museum, dedicated to Albania’s beloved national hero, Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg, who led the resistance against the Ottoman Empire for over two decades.
