Aboard a rickshaw, the city’s iconic means of transport, meet the locals and immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of the colourful alleyways. A stop at the Asabotsy Point of Sale, one of Madagascar’s largest and liveliest, will allow you to explore stalls full of local products, crafts and spices with mesmerizing scents. The route continues to Independence Square, where there is a monument offering breathtaking views of the Inn of Thermal Baths and the old train station, witnesses of the city’s colonial past. For nature lovers and hikers, an excursion around Lake Tritriva is offered. This deep blue volcanic lake, surrounded by wooded cliffs, is full of legends and offers a spectacular setting for a rejuvenating ride. Back to the city and overnight at the Inn.
