    Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine

    Travelers will visit Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha, the main shrine dedicated to Mount Fuji and an important cultural and spiritual site related to Mount Fuji worship. During the visit (approximately 30 minutes), guests can walk through the shrine grounds, admire the traditional shrine architecture, take photos, and experience the spiritual atmosphere of Mount Fuji worship culture. Before starting the climb, participants will pray at the shrine for a safe climb, good weather, and a successful summit, marking the ceremonial beginning of the Mount Fuji climbing journey.

    Summit Sunrise, Crater Walk, Descent & Onsen Relaxation

    After the Mount Fuji climb, relax at Fujimi no Yu Yurari, a hot spring facility with beautiful views of Mount Fuji. Enjoy various indoor and outdoor baths while soaking in hot spring water and recovering from the climb. On clear days, you can relax in the open-air bath while looking directly at Mount Fuji, making it a perfect way to end the climbing experience.

    After reaching the summit, participants can join the Ohachimeguri Trail, a special walking route that circles around the Mount Fuji crater. Along the trail, you can visit several shrines located at the summit, including the important Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Okumiya and Kusushi Shrine, one of the highest shrines in Japan. Many climbers bring a notebook to collect Mount Fuji commemorative stamps at the summit. During the Ohachimeguri walk, you will also pass small shrine sites and sacred stone monuments dedicated to Mount Fuji worship. The trail offers unique views of the crater and surrounding landscapes, and on clear days you may see the Japanese Alps and the Pacific Ocean in the distance. Along this route, you can also reach Fujisan Kengamine, the highest point of Mount Fuji at 3,776 meters. The Ohachimeguri Trail takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete and is a memorable highlight after reaching the summit of Mount Fuji.

    Fujisan Kengamine is the highest point of Mount Fuji and the highest point in Japan, at 3,776 meters above sea level. After reaching the summit area, hikers can walk along the crater to Kengamine, where the official highest point marker is located. This is a popular photo spot where climbers often take group photos to celebrate reaching the top of Japan. From here, you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views above the clouds, and on clear days you may see surrounding mountains and lakes. Reaching this point is a memorable highlight and a great way to mark the completion of the Mount Fuji climb.
