Departure from Stø Harbour Meet your crew at the harbour in Stø, a traditional fishing village in Vesterålen. After a short safety briefing, board your vessel and begin your journey into the open Arctic Sea.
Scenic Coastal Cruise (45–60 minutes) Cruise along the dramatic Vesterålen coastline toward offshore waters. Your guide will introduce the region, wildlife, and what to expect during the safari.
Whale Watching in Deep Waters (3–4 hours) Arrive at the feeding grounds near Bleik Canyon, one of Norway’s top whale watching areas. Spend several hours searching for and observing whales such as sperm whales, orcas, and pilot whales. Your guide provides live commentary throughout, explaining whale behavior and the marine ecosystem.
Onboard Experience & Refreshments (throughout tour) Enjoy hot soup, coffee, and biscuits while onboard. The vessel offers both indoor seating and outdoor viewing areas, allowing you to stay comfortable throughout the journey.
Anda Island – Puffins & Seabirds (20–30 minutes) On the return route, pass by Anda Island. Observe puffins, sea eagles, and other seabirds in their natural habitat (seasonal).
Return to Stø Harbour (45–60 minutes) Relax on the return journey back to Stø after a full Arctic wildlife experience.
