Meeting the Guide : The experience begins with meeting your local guide at a pre-arranged meeting point in the historic center of Fez. Your guide will warmly welcome you and briefly introduce the tasting experience, explaining the itinerary, duration of the tour, and what you can expect during the walk. During this first moment, guests will receive a short introduction to the history and cultural importance of Fez, one of Morocco’s oldest imperial cities and a place known for its rich traditions, crafts, and gastronomy. After the introduction, the group will begin a gentle walk through the narrow streets of the old medina, where travelers can already start experiencing the atmosphere of the city—traditional bakeries, spice aromas, and lively local markets.

Cultural Discovery and Food Tasting : The second part of the experience is dedicated to discovering local Moroccan flavors while learning about the culture and history of the medina. During the walk, travelers will stop at several authentic local spots to taste a wide variety of traditional Moroccan specialties. The tasting selection may include more than +10 different local foods and drinks, While tasting delicious specialties, the guide will explain their ingredients, preparation methods, and the role they play in Moroccan daily life and celebrations. The tour also includes visits to some iconic places in the medina. Guests will discover the famous Chouara Tannery, one of the oldest leather tanneries in the world, where traditional leather production techniques have been used for centuries. The walk continues to Seffarine Square, a lively square known for its traditional metalworkers who craft copper and brass items by hand.

End of the Tour and Return to the Meeting Point : After enjoying the tastings and exploring several parts of the historic medina, the guide will accompany the group back through charming alleys toward the agreed meeting point.
