At Outdoor Explorer Costa Rica, we operate on a private reserve in Bijagua de Upala where every wildlife encounter is 100% natural — no animals are disturbed, touched, or stressed for the sake of a photograph. Our certified naturalist guide identifies over 500 bird species by call alone, turning every rustle in the canopy into a discovery.
But what truly sets us apart is what happens after the rainforest walk. You board a float and glide silently across a private lagoon covered entirely in living vegetation — waterbirds landing inches away, wild orchids on the banks, the sounds of the jungle surrounding you completely.
