Embark on a charming tour of El Cajas National Park. Its haze-covered mountains hold stunning landscapes on every trail, from open meadows to forests full of life. Be ready 30 minutes before the trip outside the locations from which we will pick you up, we will park our units in front of the locations where we must pick you up, from there we will head to our offices and once we finish picking up the passengers who are in our offices we will start with our trip.
When you arrive at Calderon Park, head to the Cathedral and head right. When you reach the corner, you will find the ice cream parlor Tutto Freddo, turn left. Walk a few meters and you will find us with the House of ceramics (green color).

Laguna Toreadora is one of the largest and most prominent lagoons in the park, located at an altitude of approximately 3,900 meters above sea level. This glacial lagoon is surrounded by a mountainous moorland landscape that offers spectacular views and a reassuring experience in nature, plus we pass the Interpretation Center, which presents a variety of interactive exhibits including models, information panels and digital screens. These exhibits cover topics such as park geography, the water cycle and wildlife in this ecosystem.
The place is of great natural beauty, considered as the Garden of the Blessed Virgin, called its “bit of Heaven”. It is worth the visit, even if you are not a Catholic or believer in these events. If they wish, pilgrims can bring empty bottles to collect water from the spring next to the shrine (it is considered holy water with spiritual properties).
