    Travelers will journey from Marrakech into the High Atlas Mountains, driving along the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the highest paved mountain road in Morocco. This scenic route offers sweeping views of rugged peaks, deep valleys, and traditional Berber villages built into the mountainsides. Along the way, there will be planned photo stops to enjoy the panoramic landscapes and learn about local Berber life, architecture, and mountain traditions. Travelers will have time to stretch their legs, take pictures, and appreciate the dramatic change in scenery from the plains of Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains before continuing toward southern Morocco.

During the visit, travelers will learn about the history of the kasbah, its role as an important stop along historic caravan routes, and the traditional Berber architecture made from earth and straw. There will be time to climb to the upper viewpoints of the kasbah for panoramic views over the surrounding valley and river. Ait Ben Haddou is also internationally recognized as a filming location for many Hollywood movies and TV series, making it one of Morocco’s most iconic cultural landmarks. After the visit, travelers will continue the journey toward southern Morocco.
