In this hands-on workshop, you will stitch on high-quality denim made in Kojima, Japan’s famous denim town.
The workshop is led by ajisaidrop, a sashiko thread dyeing artist known for her beautiful hand-dyed colors.
Using her naturally dyed threads, you will create your own unique sashiko cloth while learning simple traditional stitching techniques.
Sashiko has been practiced in Japan for centuries, and many people find the slow rhythm of stitching calming and meditative.
