Discover Southern Utah’s night skies with the Astra Kit, a private self-guided stargazing experience that pairs smart telescope technology with a cozy campfire setup. At the center is the Seestar S30 smart telescope, designed for beginners to easily explore galaxies, star clusters, and the moon.
The kit includes camping chairs, a table, cooler, headlamps, phone holder, first aid kit, winter essentials, plus a coffee kit and s’mores kit for a relaxed evening outdoors.
Clear, beginner-friendly instructions and a digital guide explain how to use the equipment, where to go, and what to view each night. The kit is available for self-service pickup starting at 5:00 PM and must be returned by 11:00 AM the following morning, giving travelers flexibility to enjoy the experience on their own schedule.
With no guide required, travelers can unwind by the fire, enjoy warm drinks and treats, and take in the wonders of the night sky at their own pace under Southern Utah’s dark desert skies.

Pickup Location: Kanab Cowboy Storage 4395 E Mountain View Dr, Kanab, UT 84741. Storage Unit: G6 Main gate and unit lock codes will be sent on your arrival day.
