Kyoto HIdden Gems Walking Tour: Japanese Local Experienced Guide

8 hours (approximately)
Offered in: Japanese and 1 more

Step off the beaten path and explore a quieter side of Kyoto with a local Japanese guide with deep knowledge of the city.
It’s ideal if you want fewer crowds and a more real feel of the city.

Start at Shogunzuka Seiryuden. Walk peaceful paths and enjoy wide views over Kyoto. The morning air is fresh, and the city feels calm from above.

We also visit Heian Shrine and Nanzen-ji Temple, Heian Jingu, Gojo Rakuen, and Sanju sangendo. These are places locals love, but most tourists miss.

With over 10 years of guiding experience in Kyoto, I enjoy sharing both famous sights and quieter local places. With deep knowledge of Kyoto’s history and culture, I shape the day around your interests and guide with care, local insight, and respect for the spirit of Kyoto.
