Please note that this product is not a traditional guided tour, but a charter shuttle. It is designed to give you a comfortable, fast and simple tour so you can get to know the most attractive points of the cities of Coquimbo and La Serena. Your driver will be waiting for you at the Port of Coquimbo passenger terminal with a sign with your name on it.
What to expect
English Quarter (Panoramic view): We will start by touring the central streets of Coquimbo to appreciate the 19th-century wooden heritage architecture.
⛪ Tour of the Millennium Cross and Mosque (Panoramic): We will go up to the high part of the city to pass directly by the imposing Millennium Cross and the Mosque of Coquimbo, getting excellent photographic views from the comfort of the vehicle.
Photo Stop - La Herradura Viewpoint: We will make the first brief stop at the top of this viewpoint. Passengers can get off for a few minutes to photograph the beautiful bay.
Photo Stop - Faro Monumental: We will take the extensive Avenida del Mar until we reach the icon of La Serena. We will make a quick photo stop in front of the Monumental Lighthouse so the group can feel the Pacific Ocean breeze and capture the region's classic postcard.
Historic Center (Panoramic view): We will enter La Serena via Francisco de Aguirre Avenue (open-air museum). We will take a complete lap around the Plaza de Armas without needing to get off, comfortably admiring the stone Cathedral and the neoclassical architecture.
Free Time - "La Recova" Market: We will make a main stop of approximately 30 to 40 minutes at the city's traditional market. It is a flat and easily accessible area, ideal for passengers to stretch their legs and buy crafts made of combarbalita stone, alpaca textiles, or the classic papaya sweets.
Return to Port: Direct, safe, and on-time return to the cruise terminal.
