Welcome to the adventure with JA Transfers and Tours! To ensure a smooth start, please follow these specific instructions:
CRUISE PASSENGERS (Amber Cove & Taino Bay):
Please note that independent tour operators are not permitted to wait inside the pier. You must walk from the ship through the port shopping village to the MAIN EXIT GATE leading to the street.
This is approximately a 12-15 minute walk. Once you pass the security checkpoint and reach the street, look for our guide holding a JA Transfers and Tours sign or a sign with your name.
HOTEL & AIRBNB GUESTS:
Pickup is from the main lobby of your resort or the main entrance of your building.
Please be ready 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time.
IDENTIFICATION:
Our vehicles are typically modern white or silver vans with air conditioning. Our guides will be wearing branded shirts and holding a clearly visible sign.

This is the perfect way to experience the authentic island lifestyle while navigating challenging dirt roads surrounded by tropical nature.

Feel the ocean breeze as we reach Playa Teco, a beautiful hidden beach on the Maimón coast. We’ll take a break here to enjoy the stunning panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. It’s a great spot to take some epic photos of your buggy with the beach as a background before we head back to the mud!
