Step into Asakusa for a lively, hands-on sushi experience blending culture, skill, and celebration — perfect for families, couples, and friends of all ages.
Start with Kagami-biraki: chant "Yoisho!", open a sake barrel, and toast to new beginnings (non-alcohol option available).
Then learn nigiri essentials — shape rice, handle toppings, and place fish like a pro. No experience needed — kids love it, and first-timers always feel right at home.
Create 6–10 pieces, finish with a matcha ceremony, and leave with skills and photos the whole family will treasure.
Have a food allergy or prefer no raw fish? Just let us know in advance — we'll do our best to accommodate every guest so everyone can enjoy the full experience together.
Steps from Asakusa Station — Senso-ji, Kaminarimon, Tokyo Skytree, and Ryogoku Sumo Hall all nearby.
Maki Sushi (Roll Sushi)
Maki means 'rolled sushi.' We use a bamboo mat to roll the rice and fillings inside a sheet of dried seaweed (Nori).
Nigiri Sushi
Nigiri is the most famous style in Japan. It consists of a slice of fish placed on top of a small oval ball of rice.
Matcha
To finish our meal, let’s try making Matcha. Green tea is excellent for refreshing your palate after sushi.
- We are located under the elevated railway tracks. Please look for the green Noren (traditional Japanese curtain) at the entrance. - This experience is held at a licensed, food-safe facility in Asakusa (Food Service License No. 1605, issued by Taito City, Tokyo).
