Visit Georgia’s tallest waterfall which stands at 720 feet. You will start this all downhill hike from the top of the falls. Enjoy the incredible views on one-way 1 mile trail which includes 600 steps (again, all downhill!). You will be picked up at the bottom of the trail near a tranquil reflective pool.
Hike .6 miles round trip to see 2 beautiful waterfalls on Helton Creek. You will encounter the 35 foot lower falls first and finally the 75 foot upper falls. Don’t forget your camera on this easy to moderate hike.
See the charm of Bavaria in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Helen is a bustling alpine village that will make you feel as though you’ve been transported to the cobblestone streets of historic Germany. Eat lunch on your own and at your expense; tour guide will offer suggestions.
The 2 mile round trip relatively moderate hike is well worth it to see several large, cascading waterfalls that tumble at the convergence of Davis Creek and Dukes Creek. Multiple large wooden viewing platforms offer stunning views of the main attraction; the multi-tiered 150 foot tall drop of Dukes Creek Falls.
You will finish the day on an easy paved trail measuring .9 miles round trip. You will be greeted by a rare tumbling pair of beautiful double waterfalls. Curtis Creek’s waterfall is the larger of the two at 150 feet, but the 50 foot York Creek falls is stunning in its own right. Back at the start of the trail, finish the day buying some mementos of your adventures at the park’s gift shop before we return to Atlanta.
