Today's city tour begins with the oldest wat in Vientiane, Wat Sisaket with thousands of miniature Buddha statues
The former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which now serves as a museum of arts and antiques.
We then travel up Lanexang Avenue. You will have the opportunity to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxai Monument, which resembles its Parisian inspiration, the Arc de Triomphe. The climb to the top offer’s great views over Vientiane.
The most important religious building, the golden stupa of That Luang
The visit of the day will be the excellent COPE exhibition center, highlighting a much-overlooked aspect of Laos and a major problem many of the local people face on a day-to-day basis in the form of unexploded ordnance as a results of heavy bombing campaigns during the Vietnam War area.
Highlights include a giant reclining Buddha stretching more than 40 meters, and a unique pumpkin-shaped structure symbolizing Hell, Earth, and Heaven—visitors can climb to the top for panoramic views of the park.
Kuang Si Falls, located 30 kilometers south of Luang Prabang. The many tiered waterfalls have scooped out small basins of turquoise color. You can cool off with a refreshing swim in the pools and hike around the falls if wanted.

We also visit the country's most historic and enchanting temple Wat Xiengthong, with its roof sweeping low to the ground, representing the classical Luang Prabang style.
Wat Wisunarat, also known as Wat Visoun, is the oldest operating temple in Luang Prabang, originally built in 1513 during the reign of King Visounnarath. The temple is renowned for its distinctive stupa, nicknamed the “Watermelon Stupa” because of its rounded dome shape, which is unique compared to the pointed stupas typically seen in Laos.
To climb Mount Phousi, which offers a spectacular view over Luang Prabang and the Mekong River.
