The Hall of Science was founded at the 1964–65 World’s Fair and has evolved into New York’s center for interactive science, serving a half million students, teachers, and families each year. NYSCI is more than a world-class destination for learning and play. It is where exhibits inspire visitors, from hands-on exhibits for all ages to special programs for young adults or sensory sensitive kids, learn about the different ways you can experience our space! In addition to the more than 450 interactive displays that explain science and demystify the world, NYSCI also presents seasonal featured art and science exhibits that capture the imagination of all ages. CityWorks, NYSCI's newest exhibition about the inner workings of how cities are built, maintained, and operate on a daily basis. Connected worlds, immersive experience to maintain a balanced ecosystems. Add-on experiences like the Science Playground, Rocket Park Mini Golf, and STEM-Themed films in the 3D Theater.
