What to expect
We’ll start on a quiet, lesser-used trail surrounded by rich coastal vegetation, where you’ll discover native plants and enjoy the peaceful side of this iconic area. Soon, we’ll follow a ridge path with uninterrupted ocean views, where dramatic cliffs drop steeply into the Atlantic.
Reaching Cabo da Roca, we’ll take in panoramic views, hear about the legend of this famous landmark, and pass its historic lighthouse. Continuing along the coastal trail, we’ll arrive at Praia da Ursa — one of Lisbon’s most beautiful and unspoiled beaches. If conditions allow, you can swim in the crystal-clear waters before we share the story of this magical spot.
We’ll finish with a scenic climb back to our starting point, surrounded by stunning coastal scenery. This is a moderately challenging hike with steep sections and cliffside paths, but it’s accessible to anyone with reasonable fitness, and we’ll adjust the pace so everyone can enjoy the experience.
