Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival in Casablanca, you’ll be picked up from the airport, port, or your accommodation. Begin your journey with a visit to the impressive Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco, dramatically located on the Atlantic Ocean. Continue along the Corniche coastal road and enjoy free time for lunch. Overnight in a comfortable hotel in Casablanca.

3Chefchaouen
After breakfast, travel north along the Atlantic coast to Rabat, Morocco’s capital and an imperial city. Visit the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas overlooking the river. After lunch, continue through the Rif Mountains via Ouazzane to reach Chefchaouen, the famous Blue City. Overnight in a charming hotel or riad.

4Fez
Enjoy free time in the morning to wander Chefchaouen’s blue-washed streets. Then travel to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its mosaics and ancient structures. Continue to Meknes to see Bab Al-Mansour, the Royal Stables, Sahrij Souani, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. In the evening, arrive in Fes and check into a traditional riad.

Today is dedicated to exploring Fes with a knowledgeable local guide. Visit the Royal Palace gates, the pottery cooperative, and the historic Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover Bab Boujloud (Blue Gate), Bou Inania Madrasa, Nejjarine Fountain, traditional tanneries, and Al Quaraouiyine University, the world’s oldest university. Explore the Mellah (Jewish Quarter) and enjoy panoramic views of the city. Overnight in your riad.

7Merzouga
Depart early toward southern Morocco. Stop in Ifrane, known for its alpine-style architecture, then visit the Azrou Cedar Forest to see Barbary macaques. After lunch in Midelt, continue through the scenic Ziz Valley and mountain passes. Arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon and ride camels into the Sahara Desert. Watch the sunset over the dunes before reaching your luxury desert camp. Dinner, Berber music, and overnight under the stars.

8Dades Gorges
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking desert sunrise. After breakfast, return by camel or 4WD to Merzouga. Visit Rissani’s traditional market and a fossil workshop in Erfoud. Continue through palm-filled valleys to Todra Gorges, where you can walk between towering canyon walls. Travel on to the Dades Valley, stopping to see the famous rock formations known as “Monkey Fingers.” Dinner and overnight at a hotel in the Dades Valley.

9High Atlas Mountains
After breakfast, journey through the Rose Valley of Kalaat M’Gouna and the palm groves of Skoura. Visit Ouarzazate and then explore the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a famous filming location. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass with scenic stops along the way. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening, where your tour concludes with drop-off at your accommodation or the airport.
