Starting with a one-hour drive from Rovaniemi to our remote family farm, you leave the busy town behind and arrive in a place where peace and privacy are guaranteed. The snowmobile-pulled sleigh ride itself is both exciting and comfortable, with soft reindeer hides keeping you warm as you glide through untouched forests and climb up to the fell. At the top, a campfire is lit and traditional Finnish coffee is brewed over the flames, creating an atmosphere that feels both timeless and deeply authentic. What makes this tour truly special is the small group setting and the personal connection to local life—our family welcomes you as a guest, not just a visitor. What to expect

You will be picked up in Rovaniemi and travel about an hour to our family farm in the remote village of Marrasjärvi.

On arrival, you’ll be welcomed to the traditional farmyard and hear about local life in Lapland.

You’ll settle into a comfortable sleigh, lined with warm reindeer hides, and be pulled by snowmobile along snowy forest trails and across the fell.

At the top, the group will gather around a campfire, where you can try starting the fire yourself if you wish.

Together, we’ll brew traditional Finnish “nokipannukahvi” (campfire coffee) and enjoy snacks.

While relaxing by the fire, your guide will share stories of Finnish folklore, nature, and everyday life in Lapland.

There will also be time to enjoy the views, play in the snow, and take photos before returning to the farm and then back to Rovaniemi.
