Meeting and pickup
We can pick you up from any location that is less than 15 minutes away. Please know there may be a fee if your pick up is farther away. However, the fee may be waived if it is enroute. Please be at the front desk of your hotel or by the entrance of your air b n b for pick up. If you have any issues, feel free to reach out through our Belize Whatsapp or give us a call for urgent assistance. Please look out for correspondence from us if your pick up details/time will be changed to be more convenient for you.

1San Ignacio
Begin your day with hotel pick-up in San Ignacio, the lively hub of western Belize. Meet your guide and set out on a scenic drive through the lush Cayo District. What to bring -Closed-toe shoes with solid grip (will get wet) -Swimsuit (worn under tshirt and shorts) – dress modestly -Socks (required for the dry chamber due to preservation) -Towel and full change of clothes (stays in vehicle) -Eco-friendly bug repellent and sunscreen -Reusable water bottle -Small dry bag or backpack (remains outside cave-Will get wet) Government-issued ID (can be digital) Light snacks (lunch provided around 1 PM) No cameras, phones, or electronics allowed inside the cave. This rule is strictly enforced by the Belize government for the protection of the cave.

2Teakettle
Pass through the peaceful village of Teakettle, where your guide shares stories about local life and the history of this riverside community before continuing to Tapir Mountain Nature Reserve. Optional stop in teakettle for snacks upon request.
