Your English-speaking guide will meet you, provide a safety talk, and lead you into the protected Gunung Leuser National Park.
Wildlife Encounters & Trekking:
Your trek follows a winding path through dense, tropical vegetation. The pace is comfortable, with plenty of stops for photos.
The highlight is searching for Sumatran orangutans. Your guide will use their extensive knowledge to track them. With a little luck, you’ll observe these majestic animals in their natural habitat. We'll also look for other animals like Thomas Leaf monkeys, gibbons, and various colourful birds.
We'll take a break for a well-deserved rest. Your guide will prepare a delicious and refreshing packed lunch with fresh fruit and local specialties.
Your day concludes with a thrilling guided river tubing ride back to town.
